The ANCA – Pasadena Chapter is the most prominent Armenian political organization in Pasadena and has been serving the communities of Pasadena and eastern San Gabriel Valley since 1979.
The chapter works closely with other chapters in the region, and the ANCA Western Region office.
Our Mission
- Advance & Protect the interests of the Armenian American Community.
- Act as a political bridge between the Armenian American community, local governments, organizations and communities.
- Advocate for the recognition and education on Armenian Genocide.
- Pursue the just resolution of the Armenian Cause.
Our Board Activities Include:
- Educating the public on local, state & federal legislation on issues concerning our community.
- Working with local institutions to educate students on the Armenian Genocide & other human rights violations.
- Empowering our community to engage in civic participation through local elections by registering voters through the HYE VOTES initiative.
- Engaging in civic participation through local elections.
- Advocating for recognition, restitution & justice for the Armenian Genocide
- Supporting local businesses to ensure economic vitality in our community.
- Securing adequate representation for Armenian American citizens in city staff.
